On Wednesday, January 3, Williston students were greeted by a surprise when they returned to school: the pond was safe to skate on.

Skating on the pond is a Williston tradition, however Security often sends out warnings to students not to walk on it until it’s cleared through physical plant.

Once they were given the ok, students took to the ice, some for practice, some just for fun.
